Unicorns and Fairy Dust

A big portion of this blog is about my body, my weight and my body confidence. Both the happy parts and the bad bits. I promised you all I would never sugar coat anything for you because I want people to see the real Anna. The first update is that I'm still fat, I'm still over weight but I can still fit into Topshop jeans so it means that I haven't put on any weight since last year. I still have dreams about being a size 8, having cheek bones and just showing off some bones in general. Then I see a cake and think "Na, lets have cake". It's a very confusing circle. Hellloooooooo! It feels like forever and ever (Amen?) since I last wrote a blog post. basically, because it has been! When this blog goes up, so right now, I'm currently in Newcastle with my friend Bradley, probably getting very drunk. I'm wanting to go for a edgy look, but also casual. Not to casual though, as we're going out on the Toon. My outfit I personally love, but I know people are going to be horrified that it's near enough all black. I like black and I like that it matches my soul. I LOVE these jeans because they are really soft and I love the fit of these jeans. They are rather pricey but the quality is great and they feel amazing on. I'm teaming this up with a white vest, my vintage jacket and some chunky heels (these ones below). My week has been actually lovely and I say this with the biggest smile on my face. First off I've spent more time with my littlest cousin Oscar, who is the most loving little boy ever. We are best friends and there's not a week we don't spend time together. When I head off to Uni I'm not going to see him for months at a time and that really scares me, so I'm trying to make as many memories as possible. Welcome to week 2 of my happy week series! This week has been full of exciting things, the biggest thing I'll leave to the end! I received 2 Mac lipsticks, one off Mac directly and another one I bought at a discounted price. Both are lovely in their own ways but I couldn't have purchased two totally different liptsicks! Velvet Teddy Ss you can see from the photo, I'm hideous at taking pictures of promoted products! It's such a nice colour, way more pink toned than I thought. I'm not sure if it was strange lighting in photos online but I always thought it was more brown toned. Todays post is a bit different and it's something I never thought I'd review, purely because I'm a bit scared about trying different products other than my comfort zone ones; one word, spots. Anyways, I was lucky enough to be given a sample of Younique's foundation, which has been going viral with people drawing lines on their faces with sharpies (PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF CONTOUR, DO NOT DO THIS!) and it being made out to be this magical foundation. I was also given 3 lip glosses, one of them I am wearing on the picture below and the others I'll leave for a rainy day to review. As you can see, my face has a lot of issues, new spots, dried up spots, scaring, redness and just general uneven skin. The colour of this foundation is very yellow toned so it looks a tad off in the pictures. My mam got married to James (shoutout to James, peace) and with him came two children, Theo and Olivia. This meant we had to move house, move in together and share the same bathroom. As you can may tell, I hated the idea and ordered that I would have the largest room in the house. Having step siblings can be the best and worst thing to happen. Suddenly I had these two kids in my home, using my bathroom, sharing my bread and stealing my Nutella. This is what I've learnt whilst having a step family. Number one. Never leave Nutella unattended, it will be eaten. Number two. You will always have to queue for the toilet in the morning, you just gotta pray it's for a wee. Number three. I often spend most of my nights looking at old photos because I have no friends and there is a limit of how much Netflix you can watch without going crazy. Timehop reminds me every day how much I've grown, not much in size but as a person. Last year I was sitting alone on a bench at dinner time thinking "What the feck are you doing here Anna?" This is the first post I've actually wrote in ages. My other posts, bar my birthday post have been hiding away in my other folder, but now they have run out and I need to blog! Whilst I was in Paris (which was amazing) I visited Sephora and picked up a palette I've been eyeing ever since the date came out. I can spend silly money on foundation, concealer and even mascara, but I feel sick at the thought of spending £38 on some Eye shadow.
